ABOUT ME…

Ever since I was a little girl, I had big dreams of becoming a comic book artist. I was drawing, painting and doing all sorts of creative stuff all day long. I loved drawing so much, that after primary school, I went to art school and after that, I continued my education at Sint-Lucas in Ghent.

My interest shifted from making comic books to developing animated characters: I became fascinated with bringing comic figures to life. I studied Animation Art in Brussels at RITS. After my graduation, I began to work as a professional artist and illustrator for companies such as STUDIO 100 (drawing, inking, coloring, design of books, games and toys), VAN DER ERVE (clothing design and artworks for children) and ESKIMO (night clothing design and artworks for children). But I wanted to expand my horizons and work with new business partners, so I decided to start working for my own account.

I also created two little characters of my own, my children Amélie and Arthur. They are my biggest fans, but also my biggest critics. They look at my drawings and often make very helpful suggestions.

I love designing and drawing for a young audience, exploring their fantasy and my own talents: I started out with paper and pencils, but quickly took to using paint as a medium too. After a while, I mastered digital drawing with computer programmes such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Manga Studio. I can adapt my style according to a client’s wishes and the demands of the target audience. For more information or any questions you might have, feel free to contact me.
